Garage Sales

We had a great time hitting the garage sales in Michigan. I went with my mom, Leah and Abby and met up with Lanae and her two girls. The little girls had so much fun picking out new toys--Abby ended up with two Barbie dolls, pink teddy bear and a soft baby doll. We all found some good bargains, mine were some sandals by Clark--never worn, shorts for Jeff (hope he wears them) cute shoes for Abby, Easy Bake for Jaedyn (she tried it out tonite and made some smore cookies and had so much fun with it), magnetixs for Blake. It was a fun day--hope we can all go next year. We ended our day with Pizza Ranch Pizza to go and awesome Fountain Mt.Dew!

Monday

Busy Week

Last week was filled with surprise parties, planned parties, school auction, the start of baseball and soccer--busy, busy. Tuesday we went to Dave and Buster's downtown for Audra's 40th with some of their couple friends. We had a great time playing games and winning tickets. Friday was the school auction, we raised just over $35,000.00--that's great considering the economy and all that. Joel and Amy got in at about 2:30 Saturday morning. We went for breakfast just the girls and came back to surprise Eric. Audra and Eric share a birthday they were turning 40 and 30. We then meet at Sanfratello's for pizza with the Bleyenburg Family--Doug and Sue and Joel and Lanae also came into town. Afterwards was the surprise party for Eric at their house with all of his friends--he was quite surprised. We all had a great time. The day however was also sad as Eric and Monica had to put their dog Jessie down. They are really going to miss her--she was such a good dog. When we go there it's not the same--we were always greeted by her bounding towards us.

Spring Break--Spring Pics

We had a nice relaxing spring break of sleeping in, reading, playing outside and doing a couple of fun things. It was good thing we didn't have too much planned as Blake was sick all week. We did however go to Michigan and got to spend time with the Holstege's and the Tiesenga's. We went bowling, we had to hurry as they were getting a league in and only had time for one game. We then went for pizza at Pizza Ranch and headed home. Blake is finally recovered for the most part--just a little cough. He was tired today when he got home from school and took a big nap--nice! The kids are counting down the weeks for school to be over, only 8 weeks left--that's how many lunches, 32 days x's 3 kids = 96 = I can't wait either until school is out. We finally have been getting some decent weather--so the kids have been outside shooting baskets and riding bikes. Zach's baseball starts this week, he's pretty excited and his home practice field is within bike riding distance! Tyler starts soccer in about a week--something new for him, he wanted to give that a try instead of baseball.
