Summer Time Soccer

Zach and Tyler were on the same team with a couple of other kids from school. The games
were always on Saturday, they finished the season 8-0. When Amy was out for the graduation parties along with her girls, they were able to see a game.

Flowers of Cantigny

Another Trip to Cantigny!

Mike & Tara and kids were out for a weekend and we decided to take them to Cantigny. It was so much prettier this time around, all the flowers were in bloom. Jeff's parents joined us
we packed a lunch and had a picnic in the park, then off to the tanks--the kids loved it.

Ready to go and find the Army Tanks

Jaedyn, Abby and Adrie
Landon loved the tanks--he was so much fun to watch!

It was a hot day, but the kids did great walking everywhere and seeing all the
cool things. We saw about seven different wedding parties throughout
the day taking pictures.

Zach's 8th grade Graduation

Zach, Samantha and Grant--The Graduates!

Dallas, Abby & Samantha

The 8th Grade Class of 2009

Ready for High School
It was a nice ceremony and hard to believe that they are ready for High School. We
had an open house celebration a couple of days later and combined it with
Jake and Lauren's High School Graduation. We had the party by Jim and Leah's it
was a fun day--Aunt Amy made it out for the big party, which also turned into
a engagement celebration for Lee & Lauren.

Spring Break

We went to the Cantigny Museum. We first went to dad's office
to see where he works and then to the museum. It was a fairly nice day for March
and we walked around and saw all the army tanks that the kids could climb on. We next went
into the museum where they have a section dedicated to all of the wars
that United States has been involved with, pretty cool. We also took a tour of the
mansion of Robert McCormick--alot of history there.
