During Teacher's Break last week we went to check out the dairy farm with Jeff this time and Aunt Leah and her kids. It seems that my two oldest boys find it easier to do these kind of things if they have their cousins along, also for me--as they stay happier longer. We did get to see a calf being born, jumped on the new huge jumping pillow, toured the dairy part of the farm, had some awesome ice cream and got to watch a 4-D movie. Abby loved the cows and had to give them a hug before we left.

Going Back
I have to go back to August and show you some pics from Jeff's fishing trip to Canada. My dad took all the boys on a fishing trip to Canada for three full days of fishing. They had a good time and loved having their own fishing guides who made awesome shore lunches. Jeff caught the biggest Northern and captured the $40.00 prize. They all had their fill of fishing and came home with what they could of the fish and alot of good memories and stories. Ted came home with some recipes from the Lodge where they ate, Audra made it for Sunday coffee and it was very good.

Volleyball Season '07 Completed
We had our last game of the season tonight against Trinity Lutheran. It was a good game and we won in three. We will only lose two seniors next year -- so we should have a pretty good team. We are also excited that next year we will be in our new school/new gym! The grade school is also done with volleyball -- they had their tournament last Friday and Saturday. The seventh grade took 2ND place, they played awesome. They lost to Lansing. The eighth grade had a rough start and just weren't playing like they could have. Now it is on to Basketball for the grade school, I think we have 12 games scheduled. My niece, Jocelyn got pulled up for Western's Varsity Team, I hope they make it to State--she said it will not even be a problem. Jeff and I hope to go and watch if they make it.

Zach's Soccer Season
Zach has his last soccer game of the season tomorrow against Calvin. They haven't won any games yet--they only have one 8th grader, so they had to pull up some 6th graders. Zach has scored at least one goal in every game. I think tomorrow he will try and play goalie, he played five minutes in the last game and loved it. I haven't seen too many games--while they are playing I am coaching the volleyball teams. Hope they win tomorrow.
